Meticube was founded in 2002, with headquarters in Coimbra (Portugal). Meticube is a software engineering company engaged to conceive, develop and integrate innovative, and at the same time reliable, IT solutions. 

Meticube started its business in the railway sector. Along the first 6 years of its operation, the company developed more than 40 IT platforms, systems and applications for railway customers like CP - Comboios de Portugal EPE, REFER - Rede Ferroviária Nacional EPE and Metro-Mondego SA, turning into the leading provider of IT solutions in this sector. Based on the excellence gained during the first years and the know-how and experience of the company's most important assets (its collaborators), Meticube started to invest strategically in the development of innovative technology, solutions and products. For that purpose the company participated and is participating constantly in national, European and other transnational R&D projects that are fundamental for the maintenance of the company's competitive edge.

Today, Meticube focuses on the development of innovative solutions and products for dynamic, growing markets like Healthcare, Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), Automotive, Mobility and Infrastructure. We understand ourselves as a global player, with strategically important alliances all over the globe.
